AudioQuest HDMI Vodka 48G

AudioQuest HDMI Vodka 48G
Sound first. While 8K and other exciting video and gaming features dominate the HDMI headlines, AudioQuest has created the best sounding HDMI cables yet with its 48 and eARC Priority Series HDMI cables.
The greater precision and tighter manufacturing tolerances required to produce HDMI cables with bandwidths up to 48 Gbps give AudioQuest’s proven components and techniques even greater importance than before.
The Vodka 48 uses conductors made of silver-plated copper with 10% silver content, which are directionally bonded for the best possible high-frequency noise dissipation; a lossy carbon layer placed between metal layers around the 4 FRL + eARC pairs further optimizes noise dissipation.
What does “48G” mean?
AudioQuest “48” HDMI cables can transmit video up to professional 10K Ultra HD. The 48 Gbps is achieved by four balanced audio/video pairs, each capable of 12 Gbps.
The precision and tighter manufacturing tolerances required to produce HDMI cables with bandwidths up to 48 Gbps give AudioQuest’s proven components and techniques even greater importance than before.
AudioQuest’s 48 Gbps HDMI cables have the bandwidth and resolution/refresh rate up to 8K/60 and 4K/120 required for video up to 10K resolution.
All AudioQuest HDMI cables are fully backward compatible with existing 4K displays.
Silver-plated copper conductors with 10% silver content (HDMI)
In AudioQuest HDMI cables, silver plating of increasing thickness is used on the long grain copper conductors to improve noise dissipation.
Using the higher quality material on the surface of the conductor provides the greatest benefits for overall performance – an outstandingly cost-effective way to optimize digital cables. The conductors of the Vodka 48 are made of silver-plated copper with 10% silver content.
Level 3 noise dissipation: carbon + metal + running direction
Conventional “100 percent shielding” does not provide sufficient protection against the increasing effects of WiFi, mobile phone and satellite radiation.
All 19 conductors in AudioQuest HDMI cables are directional, reducing harmful RF noise by “deflecting” or directing it away from the most vulnerable circuits. In Level 3 noise dissipation, a lossy carbon layer placed between metal layers is added around the 4 FRL + eARC pairs to further optimize noise dissipation.
Further noise reduction (level 4 and up) is applied according to the respective budget to further reduce noise rustling.
eARC: 10% silver + level 3 noise rejection
Because sound matters, the eARC conductors in AudioQuest’s latest HDMI cables get the same love and attention, high-quality metals, directional conductors, and noise dissipation technologies as the main AV data pairs.
HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC) transfers audio from a TV to a soundbar or AV receiver, making system setup easier and more flexible.
Until now, the ARC capabilities of the hardware were already fully exhausted with lossy (compressed) 5.1-channel surround sound. The latest HDMI 2.1 hardware supports Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC), which significantly increases bandwidth and transmits uncompressed, lossless, high-resolution multichannel audio, including Dolby TrueHD and Atmos, as well as DTS-HD Master Audio and DTS:X.
Limited lifetime warranty
AudioQuest HDMI cables are precision manufactured to ensure a high level of reliability and are backed by a non-transferable limited lifetime warranty.
