STUNNING SIGNATURE 3D SOUND
Headphones and earphones have drivers that are in close proximity to the ear. Sounds are delivered to the eardrum without crossing the room. This makes the sound source clearly audible, but makes it difficult to localize individual sounds and instruments.
3D SOUND FIELD is based on over 30 years of experience using CINEMA DSP technology in home cinemato transform a 2-channel listening experience into a multi-channel experience. It localizes the sound source using proprietary HRTF (Head-Related Transfer Function) audio technology, synthesizes binaural audio, and converts the two-channel sound source into a three-dimensional sound space.

Internal microphones continuously measure your ear canal and acoustic conditions. The pure reference sound provides the ultimate listening experience.
Yamaha’s sound optimization uses an in-ear microphone to measure the seal and air leakage every 20 seconds, depending on the shape of each ear. Playback is optimized in real time to compensate for discrepancies between the source and actual listening conditions. The result is a tailor-made sound that is personally attuned to the listener.
Less noise, not less music
Yamaha’s unique noise cancellation never interferes with the sound source itself. Only the noise is removed, and the pure, unadulterated sound remains
