Compact, powerful and flexible is the new My Connect 60 from the forge of the French traditional manufacturer Advance Paris. The “All in One” system handles classic hi-fi tasks, such as playback of a conventional CD, just as reliably as flexible access to digital file formats from PC/MAC/NAS and streaming from popular music services.

At the heart of the MyConnect 60 is the 2 x 70 watt amplifier, which immediately reveals the focus on excellent acoustic quality: while similarly highly integrated competitor products often rely on a Class D amplifier here, the amplification in the MyConnect 60 works in Class AB mode. Thus, with the diversity offered, the acoustic performance is not disregarded but receives special care: a very dynamic, clear sound with high authenticity and detail is the result. The Wolfson WM8740 also relies on proven audiophile components in the area of digital/analog conversion.

Thanks to the network and streaming compatibility, music files can be played not only from PC, Mac or NAS hard drive, but also from a smartphone or tablet. In addition, the MyConnect 60 accesses music streaming services like Spotify, Deezer, Tidal and Qobuz, and also supports TuneIn’s numerous Internet radio stations. The compact all-rounder also supports AirPlay. Thanks to multi-room functionality, different sources can be used in different rooms.

The generous display on the front of the unit simplifies operation with the stationary controls. The app, available for iOS and Android, can additionally control streaming and network content. Visually, the MyConnect 60 skilfully takes its cue from the successful Smartline devices in the Advance Paris family: with a high-gloss black front and white illuminated silver controls, the system combines simplicity and elegance.

In addition to the network and streaming functionality, MyConnect 60 is extremely flexible with stereo analog inputs including phono input as well as two optical and one coaxial digital interface. There is also a USB-A input, a pre-out and a subwoofer output. Upgrade functionality is also provided to add new features and functionality to the component in the future.
