Fully digital amplifier, JENO engine (Jitter Elimination and Noise-Shaping Optimisation)

The SA-C600 CD network receiver is equipped with a fully digital amplifier that uses Technics’ proven digital audio technology. The digital transmission system processes all signals in all stages – from input to output – completely digitally.

Compared to analog transmission, this system is less susceptible to signal degradation due to external noise, ensuring more accurate signal transmission. Careful signal processing not only delivers high-resolution digital audio, but also preserves the smooth texture of analog recordings.

Dual power supply design (separate power supplies)

In audio systems with CD players, amplifiers, digital circuits and other components of this type, the design of the power supply is crucial. To avoid adverse effects on the amplifier, the SA-C600 is equipped with its own power supply for the amplifier circuits, independent of all other circuits, and can thus drive both transformers independently.

The cable connections between the two special transformers and the amplifier circuits are also optimized to reduce disturbing noise.

Cleanly driven clock

The power supply for the JENO Engine’s clock circuitry uses the same noise reduction circuitry found in Technics’ top-of-the-line turntable, the SL-1000R, to ensure effective noise reduction. It achieves excellent sound image localization and provides transparent spatial expression.

Integrated phono equalizer, compatible with MM cartridges

The integrated phono equalizer is ideal for use with MM cartridges. The phono equalizer has its own power supply and is equipped with a different power supply circuit than the control circuit to reduce noise even more effectively.

In addition, the equalizer circuit is shielded to eliminate external interference and provide high-purity signal amplification without sound loss.

Space Tune

The SA-C600 is equipped with the “Space Tune” function, which allows tuning of the sound space to the environment and the installation location. This allows for excellent music reproduction for all people in the room. By using the “Technics Audio Centre*” app for tablets and smartphones, or by selecting one of the four presets – “Free,” “Wall,” “Corner,” and “On a Shelf” – users can achieve the optimal sound reproduction for their individual acoustic environment via the main unit, depending on the installation location.

The “L/R Custom” function allows users to adjust the settings for each of the speakers independently to suit different installation conditions, ensuring the highest sound quality at all times. * Only available for iOS devices.

Supports a wide range of music content

The SA-C600 supports a variety of music sources, including CD, radio, phono input, optical digital input (including TV), coaxial digital input, USB input and more. The SA-C600 can play high-resolution music wirelessly. It supports not only Bluetooth® and AirPlay 2, but also Spotify Connect®, TIDAL, Amazon Music and Chromecast built-in, among others. The SA-C600 supports MQA, so it can play MQA CDs or MQA files downloaded from a streaming service with superior sound quality.

The solution for sophisticated music enjoyment

For a cohesive look, the SA-C600’s design turntableup elements from Technics turntable, including color, surface material, and dimensions. Thus, your listening room can convince with a uniform overall impression.

A CD player with a manually operated shutter is integrated into the aluminum cover, which makes it particularly easy to operate and also ensures maximum visual enjoyment.
