Despite its power, the Edge W has particularly good detail reproduction. The sound is very well balanced and produces musical depth and clarity with every note. Its secret is the choice of its components – we have not compromised on price, specification or measured performance. We listened carefully. Our system consists of components that provide the best sound. The result is a power amp that brings the original recording to life like no other device.

Only 14 components in the signal path.

Despite the minimalist exterior design, the Edge W contains complex audio technology. To remove barriers between you and your music, we’ve taken great care to use the smallest possible number of components in the signal path.

As a result, the Edge W faithfully reproduces the original recording with impressively detailed, three-dimensional sound and striking staging and focus.

Higher level of detail in music.

We pioneered the use of toroidal transformers in amplifiers, which helped improve performance. With Edge, we go one step further and use oppositely balanced dual toroidal transformers. This compensates for electromagnetic interference while achieving outstanding performance and consistent pitch, no matter what the volume.

Effortless performance without distortion.

A normal Class A amplifier was not efficient enough for the Edge W. Instead, we added bias to a conventional AB amplifier to reduce distortion to an inaudible level. This specific configuration also generates less heat and makes the whole system much more powerful.
