Improved UHC MOS
To achieve an optimal balance between fine detail and high dynamic range, the PMA-2500NE uses Ultra High Current MOS-FETs (UHC-MOS-FETs). They support extremely high currents in the single push-pull configuration and provide impeccable linearity across the entire sound spectrum.
Advanced AL32 Processing Plus
To reproduce the analog waveform, the PMA-2500NE uses Advanced AL32 Processing Plus at the digital input, the latest version of Denon’s technology that employs special data interpolation algorithms and supports high-resolution PCM input signals up to 384 kHz / 32 bits.
Analog mode
When playing back analog audio signals, the analog mode can be activated. In this mode the digital transformer and the digital circuitry are completely switched off to exclude high frequency influences on the analog section. In addition, the low-noise FL display is switched off in analog mode. The PMA-2500NE operates as a pure analog amplifier.
USB D/A converter
The PCM input has a USB D/A converter that supports high-resolution input signals in DSD 2.8, 5.6, and 11.2 MHz formats, as well as PCM up to 384 kHz / 32 bits.
