Seventh Generation Advanced Ultra High Current MOS Push-Pull Circuitry
The PMA-A110 stands out with an Advanced Ultra High Current (UHC) power amplifier with latest generation singular MOS push-pull output stage. In combination with the two-stage differential amplifier circuit, just about any type of loudspeaker can be operated with improved sound quality.
To achieve an impeccable balance between the fine details of a musical recording and the power in the lower frequency ranges, the PMA-A110 has the capability of high current output thanks to its singular push-pull circuitry. This allows even the most demanding speakers to be driven while maintaining the superior linearity of the power amplifier.
High precision electronic volume control
The PMA-A110 features electronic controls for volume, balance, treble, and bass that retain the analog feel of earlier generations of devices. Clever engineering provides the feel of an analog volume knob, with the main processor converting the position of the knob into digital signals to control the volume.
This unique mechanism provides smoother, more linear control of overall volume by transferring the curve of analog volume control to the digital world. The same method is used for the balance and tone controls.
