NAD C268
Efficiency and powerful.
HybridDigitalTM Class D amplifier
The C 268 uses the innovative HybridDigitalTM technology. This is a self-oscillating Class D amplifier operating with active negative feedback. This first converts the analog curved input signal into a square wave signal via pulse width modulation (PWM).
The music information is now exclusively in the changing pulse width. Since the power transistors thus require only two switching states – on or off – Hybrid DigitalTM Class D amplifiers operate extremely efficiently in contrast to Class A and B technology, achieving a power yield of more than 90%.
