Overview

Like all devices from the AVM 30.3 series, the PA 30.3 refers to a legendary predecessor, the AVM V2. This preamp from the early nineties provided the template for its modern descendant. Other borrowings of the current PA 30.3 also come from the larger preamplifier sister models of the EVOLUTION series. Key features such as the high-end phono section were imported from here.

High sound level

Contemporary features such as digital inputs along with Bluetooth 4.2 with high resolution, complete the wide range of equipment of the PA 30.3. Likewise, the circuit design adopted the modern DA converter structure of the larger AVM preamps. These innovations are made possible by the use of state-of-the-art components. All in all, this has resulted in a new and ultra-modern preamplifier that plays at the very highest level in terms of sound and offers the complete panel of state-of-the-art connection options.

All functions of the PA 30.3 are easy and intuitive to operate – at the same time, extensive adjustment options are available (input sensitivity, tone control, home cinema, and much more). The perfectly crafted cabinet made of painted sheet steel provides the stable base to safely support the sensitive amplifier electronic and protect the sensitive phono stage from unwanted interference.

The brushed aluminum front borrows from both the current EVOLUTION series devices and its ancestor the V2. Standard cases are silver and black. The solid and shapely RC 3 aluminum remote control is included.

The AVM 30.3 series continues the anniversary series launched in late summer 2016 and limited at the time. Like all audiophile masterpieces from AVM, the PA 30.3 has been completely developed in the noble manufactory in Malsch, Germany, in order to transfer the latest circuitry methods of the award-winning components from the EVOLUTION series adapted to the AVM 30.3 series. Repeated, intensive quality controls during all manufacturing steps and a break-in period of several days for each individual device ensure AVM’s promise of maximum reliability in the long term.
