The SD 8.3 at a glance
OVATION SD Streaming DAC – a completely new category of devices: The SD models characterize a thoroughly new category of streaming-capable components. Combining an analog preamplifier with two high-level line inputs, a DA converter with DSD, a streaming client with ready access to the TIDAL hi-fi streaming service, web radio and a high-quality headphone amplifier in a single unit, these new additions are also known as SD (short for Streaming & DAC). The OVATION tube stage of the SD 8.3 conjures up a pleasant, warm and natural sound. It is installed in the widely proven OVATION Line cabinet.
