Chord Huei – 30 years experience
Designed, engineered and manufactured entirely in the UK, Huei has been carefully engineered to provide turntable with the same high standards of amplification that Chord Electronics has been known for over 30 years.
Huei benefits from both moving magnet and moving coil functionality, and offers compatibility with a wide range of cartridge-dance matching options thanks to comprehensive gain and impulse; Huei’s high and low gain switching settings are easily accessible via front panel controls and offer welcome flexibility.
Huei’s advanced design offers (for the first time in a Chord Electronics phono preamplifier) ultra-low-noise microprocessor control of its key features, including a convenient memory function. With multiple options for impedan Huei’s design offers extensive compatibility with a seven-stage switchable gain and a switchable hull filter.
Form & Function – The Chord Huei
Precision machined from solid aircraft-grade aluminum billet, Huei has a similar form factor to the company’s Qutest DAC and also features a top-mounted viewing window into the illuminated Electronic inside. The design also shares the same polychromatic control areas that the company has become known for in its digital products.
The front panel illuminated globes provide direct access to Huei’s gain and pulse dance settings, selection for MM / MC cartridges, and access to the integrated rumble filter.
Huei is an elegant, practical and powerful solution for the integration of turntableChord Electronics'(and other) systems and functions for both unbalanced (RCA) and balanced outputs (XLR) with RCA inputs. A high-quality external 12 V power supply is also included.
