NAD PP 4 | Excellent sound reproduction

This compact and excellent-sounding phono preamplifier allows you to connect a turntable to any amplifier that does not have a phono input. The unit has connectors for both magnetic (MM) and moving coil (MC) cartridges. The NAD PP 4 also offers the possibility to digitize the analog phono (or a high-level) signal using the included software and transfer it to a computer.

    Phono preamplifier and A/D converter

    With the NAD PP 4 phono/USB preamplifier you can connect your turntable to all stereo amplifiers and AV receivers that do not have an integrated phono input. The unit has inputs for magnetic systems (moving magnet; MM) and moving coil pickup (MC). There is also a high-level input for connecting another audio source. The PP 4’s auto power off function saves energy by automatically shutting down the preamplifier when not in use for extended periods of time.

    In addition to amplifying the sensitive phono signals, the PP 4 allows you to digitize your records and store them on a PC or Mac. Included is VinylStudio Lite software for ripping LPs and burning audio CDs.

    The PP 4 comes with a Mac and PC compatible version of AlpineSoft’s VinylStudio Lite ripping software. With VinylStudio Lite you can:
