With the Edge NQ you can enjoy music from any signal source. In addition to digital coaxial connections, HDMI, USB and S/PDIF connections, Chromecast, Spotify Connect, AirPlay, Bluetooth aptX HD and Internet radio are also integrated. Regardless of the source, the Edge NQ does not distort the character of an instrument and provides a musical experience like you’ve never heard before.

Amazing digital detail reproduction.

With various connections, for example digital coaxial connections as well as connections for ARC (Audio Return Channel), USB and S/PDIF, our engineers have ensured that you can enjoy digital content with up to 32 bit/384 kHz as well as DSD 256. Edge NQ delivers an incredibly detailed sound, with rhythmic drive and thumping bass.

Tone control.

The Edge A was developed with a special circuit board. Our engineers replaced the conventional capacitors with a DC-coupled topology and also gave the device a solid-state volume control. This results in a particularly clean signal that is balanced at any volume.

Award-winning streaming software.

The Edge NQ uses the latest version of our award-winning streaming module. Developed here in the UK, this technology uses a new, faster chipset and supports both 24-bit/192 kHz files and DSD 128. With the addition of Spotify Connect, AirPlay, Bluetooth aptX HD, and Internet radio, you can enjoy your music regardless of the signal source.

Chromecast Built-in.

Chromecast is now integrated in the Edge NQ. Simply tap the cast button on your favorite app to stream music from your smartphone, tablet, or laptop with stunning HD sound at up to 24-bit/96 kHz.

Fixed line out mode

If you want to connect the Edge NQ to an integrated amplifier instead of a power amplifier, you can use the streaming functionality independently of the preamplifier. The preamp can be disabled via the dedicated Edge app for iOS and Android.

FIXED LINE-OUT MODE
Yes. The preamp can be disabled via the dedicated Edge app for iOS and Android. Within the app, you only have to switch off the “Preamplifier Mode” in the settings to perform the line-out via an XLR or RCA connection through an integrated amplifier.
