The Scandinavian look and feel of Primare

We believe that every aspect of these products – the look, the pleasant feel of the controls – contributes to the overall experience of living with Primare. Therefore, Primare products are characterized by Scandinavian design – simple, elegant design with easy-to-understand functions.

One example of this is our characteristic control knob. It’s known throughout the industry for its looks and how it feels in the hand when selecting an input or adjusting the volume.

Modular design and system construction

We believe that it is important to offer modularity whenever possible in order to have just the right features, both now and in the future.

The modular design is reflected in the I25 and I35 modular integrated amplifier. As in the PRE35 modular preamplifier, all of which can be upgraded with DAC and Prisma modules. Also with the CD35 CD player, the Prisma module can be added either at the time of purchase or at a later date.

This allows us to offer a carefully considered range of models and configurations to provide a device selection that best suits the system requirements at hand. For example, a CD35 with Prisma module installed can be coupled to an I35 integrated amplifier, allowing separation of analog and digital stages.

Or an I35 with DAC and Prisma modules installed can be paired with a DD35 CD transporter, allowing multi-room and multi-zone playback of any input, whether analog or digital.
