Panasonic’s UB9004 is future-proofed thanks to Multi HDR support.

Besides Hybrid Log Gamma for UHD TV and the static HDR10 format, the player supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.
These next-generation dynamic HDR standards use dynamic tone mapping to optimize the presentation of each scene and produce high-contrast images of unprecedented quality.

Stunning colors and details

The technologies for Panasonic’s unique “4K High Precision Chroma Processing” come directly from the Panasonic Hollywood Laboratory, the center for Blu-ray disc research and development.

This process interpolates 4K image color signals (4:2:0) into 4K (4:4:4) through a multi-tap chroma process to create natural textures and depth.

Vibrations are reduced – for first-class sound quality

Highly rigid cabinet with lower center of gravity –
A newly designed drive base with a three-dimensional, rigid steel plate fixes the optical drive in the center of the two-layer chassis to reduce vibration and noise during disc rotation.

The front and side walls are made of thick aluminum plate. This increases the rigidity of the cabinet and reduces vibrations.

Versatile and high quality audio output connectors

2-channel (XLR/RCA) and 7.1-channel output connectors – The 2-channel and 7.1-channel output connectors are also separated.
The 2-channel output has a balanced XLR output in addition to the RCA connection.

Reference design – The design of the front and side elements made of solid aluminum meet even the highest design requirements.
