This universal disc player is specially designed for ideal disc playback. The UBR-X100 features an extremely sturdy construction to achieve a high S/N ratio for high-quality audio and video playback. Support for the spectacular Ultra HD Blu-ray format lets you enjoy the immersive experience at four times the resolution of 1080p Full HD.

The UBR-X100 is compatible with the latest Dolby Vision® format, which offers stunning HDR picture technology with exceptional on-screen color, contrast and brightness. Other features include SDR/HDR preset mode and two HDMI outputs.

Extra sturdy construction with steel plate bottom

The 1.6 mm thick chassis bottom is reinforced with a 3 mm thick steel plate to minimize the mechanical movement noise of the BD drive. The result is significantly less noise and an even stiffer and more stable Gehäuse.

As a universal disc player, the UBR-X100 can play various optical discs, including the latest disc format Ultra HD Blu-ray, which has four times the resolution of 1080p Full HD, as well as Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D, DVD, CD, and music, video and audio files such as FLAC, AIFF, DFF, DSF, JPG, TIFF, MKV and M2TS. The UBR-X100 can also play your audio and video from an external drive via USB or DLNA.

Media information via screen display

You can view the disc information on your screen by pressing and holding the INFO button on the remote control. In addition to the details of the disc being played, you can easily check mastering information such as MaxFALL (Maximum Frame Average Light Level) and MaxCLL (Maximum Content Light Level) available with some HDR content, as well as HDR and HDMI output information.
