Connect your passive Speaker and the smart world of streaming: with the powerful Smart Amp 5.1 as a multiroom AV amplifier with Dolby Atmos® technology, you can combine up to 6 wired passive speakers and up to another 8 wireless Speaker from the Canton Smart series.
The Smart Amp 5.1 is a smart, unobtrusive AV amplifier solution that can replace large, heavy amplifiers in this age of minimalist living rooms. For example, the powerful 600-watt Smart Amp 5.1 effortlessly manages and drives numerous passive and wireless speaker – up to a complex Dolby Atmos® system in 7.1.4 configuration. It can be flexibly adjusted to your listening room and listening habits, conveniently via remote control and on-screen menu. With Apple AirPlay, Chromecast built-in and Spotify Connect features, you can stream your favorite music wirelessly.
The variable connectivity and ease of use with 4K compatible HDMI ports including eARC and many additional inputs, allows you to connect your TV and other playback devices directly with the Smart Amp 5.1. Whether it’s a high-end stereo system or a combination of wired and wireless speaker, the options are many for room-filling home cinemaand flexible streaming.
Control center for home cinema and picture
The Smart Amp 5.1 brings your crisp TV picture to life with gripping, room-filling sound thanks to four HDMI ports with eARC and HDCP2.2. As multi-channel sound formats, the Smart Amp 5.1 supports Dolby Atmos®, DTS HD and the video format HDR (High Dynamic Range). Using the on-screen display on the TV, you can conveniently set up the system and adjust it perfectly to your sound preferences.
Thus, in addition to connecting as a stereo or AV amplifier for direct connection to the TV, the Smart Amp 5.1 acts as a control center for a wide variety of players: from CD players, game consoles, Blu-ray players to a classic radio receiver. The freely configurable inputs and outputs provide flexible connection options for your speakers or playback devices.
Wireless music streaming in High-Res
For both passive speakers and smart Speaker, the high-quality AV amplifier Smart Amp 5.1 serves as a flexibly configurable connection center. The basis for impressive sound experiences is created here by a lossless and high-resolution transmission of up to 24 bit / 96 kHz.
Thus, a combination of 6 passive speakers and wireless up to 8 smart speakers is possible. The multidimensional virtualizer provides the stunning 3D surround sound – even with 2 connected speaker.
The powerful DSP enables high-end stereo sound and impressive multi-channel sound. With the Smart Amp 5.1, the variations are versatile and unique: stereo or multi-channel, wired or wireless, the flexible combination of both worlds as well as SingleRoom and Multiroom streaming – everything is possible.
For example, you have the option to wire your front speakers and connect the rear speakers wirelessly.

Simple operation – also via voice command
In addition to manual operation via app, you can also start, pause, adjust volume or operate an entire Canton Smart System by voice.
Although there are no built-in microphones in our Smart Amp 5.1, it still offers the highest possible compatibility when it comes to voice control. There are several ways to operate the Smart Amp 5.1 by voice:
Use the Siri or Google Assistant voice assistants on your smartphone or an external Apple or Google device of your choice. So you can choose to play your favorite music at the touch of a button or by voice in any room you want.
Easy setup with Apple AirPlay or Google Home app
With Apple Airplay or the Google Home app, the Smart Amp 5.1 can be conveniently set up and managed from the smartphone to the WiFi. The integrated amp supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 Ghz WiFi.
Always up to date software with automatic updates
Once integrated into the WiFi, the Smart Amp 5.1 always stays up to date with automatic software updates. This way, you can get all new features on your device via update if you wish.
Sound and music playback even without WiFi
If the Smart Amp 5.1 is not connected to the WiFi, you can still use all functions and transfer music wirelessly to the soundbar via Bluetooth if necessary.
