DTS:X/DTS Neural:X upmixing

DTS:X is DTS’ next-generation audio codec that uses object-based audio to enable new immersive and interactive audio experiences. Since DTS:X can automatically match the audio to the available channels and speaker, no special speakeris required. Experience an immersive soundscape with incredibly rich and lifelike sound. Other audio codecs such as PCM and DSD can be upmixed with DTS Neural:X to enjoy 3D surround sound.

Dolby Atmos height virtualization

When playing any Dolby format, activating the Dolby Atmos Height Virtualizer enables an even more immersive listening experience by creating a virtual surround and height effect from conventional speakerwithout the need for additional surround or height speakers.

With DTS Virtual:X, you can enjoy three-dimensional, immersive sound similar to DTS:X without the need for treble or rear speakers. The technology supports 2 to 7.1.4-channel input sources for playback on 2 to 5.1-channel speaker layouts. DTS Virtual:X works with all DTS codecs, including DTS:X.

The VSX-534D supports pass-through for HDR10, HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma) and Dolby Vision signals. When you connect a compatible source device, you can enjoy these latest video standards on a compatible display. In addition, all HDMI ports support 4K (60p/4:4:4/24-bit), Wide Color Gamut (BT.2020), and HDCP 2.2, so you won’t have any problems when upgrading to new devices and can enjoy premium content like 4K videos with digital copy protection.

The VSX-534D is equipped with Zone B audio outputs to expand the sound of the main zone by connecting a wireless headphone docking station. You can listen to the sound in the living room through wireless headphones.

Stream songs from compatible devices with built-in Bluetooth Wireless Technology (Ver. 4.2 + LE). The VSX-534D features A2DP/AVRCP Profiwith support for SBC/AAC codecs. By pressing the Bluetooth button on the front, you can start the BT function directly even if the device is in standby mode.
