DALI Oberon On-Wall C
FLEXIBLE SET UP
The drivers and crossovers used in the OBERON C Series are designed to radiate audio signals at particularly wide angles. This not only enables sonorous and spatially precise reproduction outside the sweet spot, but also significantly reduces harmonic distortions and diffractions that impair the sound.
LOW LATENCY
Audio signals are transmitted from the SOUND HUB COMPACT to the OBERON C loudspeakers using a proprietary 30-bit wireless protocol. Here, the latency from the input to the Speaker is usually only less than 15 ms, and both Speaker are also driven absolutely simultaneously.
PATENTED SMC TECHNOLOGY
The pole piece of the magnet systems of all OBERON C bass-midrange drivers is partly made of DALI’s patented non-conductive Soft Magnetic Compound (SMC) magnet material. The use of SMC significantly reduces mechanical distortion, which makes the Speaker sound very pleasant even over a long period of time and surprisingly detailed considering the price range.
ACTIVE SPEAKERS
Each OBERON C Speaker uses two Class-D power amplifiers, each with a pulse power of 50 watts, selected for their high sound quality and dynamics. One amplifier supplies the tweeter, one the bass-midrange driver (or the two bass-midrange drivers of the OBERON 7 C).

The active OBERON ON-WALL C is a wireless surface-mounted audio solution. The OBERON ON-WALL C can be hung in any room next to a wall-mounted TV and is part of DALI EQUI, our powerful ecosystem of wireless powered speakers and Verstärker.

Compact power without cables
The OBERON ON-WALL C was designed with TV audio in mind. Despite its compact size, this wireless active surface mount speaker can keep up with much larger speaker. With keyhole slots on the back for portrait or landscape mounting, this low Profi, reflective performer is easy to integrate into any space … without any cables at all.
REDUCTION OF DISTORTIONS
DALI’s patented SMC (Soft Magnetic Compound)
The OBERON ON-WALL C’s 5¼” bass/midrange driver features our proprietary Membrane of fine cellulose and reinforced wood fiber composite, whose stiff, lightweight structure helps reduce unwanted distortion. We reduce distortion by using an advanced, electrically non-conductive, copper-coated aluminum voice coil wire and our unique SMC (Soft Magnet Compound) magnet technology Materials like these greatly reduce the effect of distortion-generating mechanisms inherent in moving coil driver design.
CLASS D REINFORCEMENT
Reproduce the smallest detail with clarity and accuracy
The OBERON ON-WALL C power amplification system consists of two 50-watt peak Class D closed-loop power amplifiers specifically selected for their sound quality and dynamic range. One Verstärker supplies the high-frequency driver, the other the bass/midrange drivers. The 100 dB signal-to-noise ratio of the power amplifiers ensures that even the smallest detail in a quiet musical passage is reproduced clearly and precisely.
LIGHT SOFT DOME
Increased sensitivity and power handling with reduced distortion
The OBERON ON-WALL C tweeter is a damped textile tweeter with an oversized, unusually lightweight 29 mm cone and voice coil. Their interaction increases sensitivity and power handling and reduces distortion. They also allow the driver to operate at lower frequencies than typical smaller tweeters to allow more latitude in crossover design.
INNOVATIVE HOUSING DESIGN
Improves bass performance
The OBERON ON-WALL C enclosure is constructed of CNC-machined, high-strength MDF panels finished in a variety of wood-look or matte white laminates. The Gehäuse’s two rear reflex ports emerge parallel to the wall and use the interaction between the ports and the wall surface to enhance bass performance. This innovative solution is also the reason for the unusually flat Gehäuse the OBERON ON-WALL C.
