Compact streaming speaker that, in addition to its harmonious sound image, also convinces with elegant design.
Compact sound wonder
Two 16 mm tweeters provide high-resolution treble reproduction up to 50 kHz. The bass range is handled by a 12 cm long-throw woofer as a subwoofer in conjunction with an elongated bass reflex channel with a large diameter.
Thus, a total of five driver units, built into a rigid Gehäuse made of fiberglass, together with a 2.1-channel amplifier provide powerful sound.
Perfectly calibrated sound quality
The SC-C30 also turns up the heat in Hi-Res Audio. The state-of-the-art, all-digital amplifier – equipped with Technics’ groundbreaking JENO Engines (Jitter Elimination and Noise-Shaping Optimization) – provides an exceptionally wide frequency response.
Also on board is Technics’ original LAPC (Load Adaptive Phase Calibration) technology, which cleverly adapts the sound to the features the internal Speaker.
Reliable sound reproduction from Bluetooth® and compressed audio sources
Technics’ Re-Master technology uses a proprietary algorithm. It reproduces signals as close as possible to the original audio source. This increases the sound quality in an impressive way, especially when playing compressed audio sources such as music streaming services, internet radio and Bluetooth® connections.
Space Tune™ – Optimal sound in any environment
To bring out the sound quality of the SC-C30 in any room and listening position, Space Tune™ adjusts sound processing to the listening environment. In addition to the three preset modes (free, near-wall, near-corner), a built-in microphone enables sound optimization via a so-called “Auto” function.
In addition, an iOS device can be used to measure the actual frequency response with even greater precision. This allows the listener to enjoy maximum sound quality regardless of the existing room situation and placement of the Speaker.

A built-in microphone enables sound optimization via the “Auto” function.
Precise customization using the Technics Audio Center (TAC) app (with an iOS device).
The app measures the actual frequency response and adjusts it to the room situation.
Full compatibility
The SC-C30 features USB playback as well as an analog and optical (TOSLink) input. Bluetooth®, AirPlay 2, Roon, Google Chromecast, Spotify 1/2 , Tidal 1/2, Deezer 1/2, Internet Radio1/2, Amazon Music 1/2 as well as playback from an internal network it masters easily.
Thus, a high variety of music sources can be comfortably played back through a single player. However, high connectivity also means multi-room capability, the interconnection of two units to form a stereo pair, and WiFi. Moreover, the Speaker works with both iOS and Android apps.
Multiroom and stereo pairing
If there are multiple Google Chromecast speakers in the house, the same song can be broadcast to multiple rooms at the same time, or different tracks can be broadcast to different rooms. By connecting two C50 speakers together to form a stereo pair, the user can enjoy fantastically spacious stereo reproduction.
Integrated Chromecast
The built-in Chromecast function supports a wide range of streaming services; these can be easily used via a smartphone or tablet app. Since the music signals are streamed directly from the network to the device, the sound quality is maintained at the highest level.
