The Cognitive Processor XR sets new standards in image and sound. The revolutionary processor in Sony’s BRAVIA XR TVs reproduces content the way we humans see and hear it. This makes for an incredibly realistic viewing experience. He understands how the human eye focuses and analyzes images to give them lifelike depth, incredible contrast and beautiful vibrant colors.
Exceptionally pure blacks for lifelike depth and texture
By pairing the OLED screen with XR OLED Contrast Pro, this TV enhances colors and contrasts in bright areas so you can enjoy unprecedented pure blacks and maximum brightness. In combination with the Cognitive Processor XR, the images are optimized in the same way that the human eye focuses. This way, you won’t miss any details in particularly bright or dark areas.

With the Cognitive Processor XR Triluminos Pro enables the A90K to reproduce over a billion colors in fine, realistic nuances. Combined with our wide color spectrum and user-oriented processor, colors can be detected based on saturation, hue, and brightness, and natural hues can be reproduced.

Thanks to XR 4K upscaling, you get entertainment in near 4K resolution regardless of content or source. The Cognitive Processor XR uses large amounts of data and intelligently restores lost structures.

With the Cognitive Processor XR, XR OLED Motion combats blur by detecting and analyzing core visual elements in images. Then it creates and inserts additional frames between the original sequences to render fast action scenes sharply.

The screen is the speaker, the sound follows the picture
With Acoustic Surface Audio+, the sound comes directly from the screen. Two actuators vibrate and turn the entire screen into a speaker – for powerful acoustics to match the action and realistic sounds with clear and natural dialogue. A subwoofer in the center amplifies the bass for rousing cinema sound.
