You worked hard for it because you just love music. We have also worked hard – on the creation of the Alva TT, because we are also absolute music lovers.
THE WORLD’S FIRST BLUETOOTH APTX HD TURNTABLE
Bluetooth aptX HD frees your turntable from your hi-fi shelf. With the freedom to place Alva TT anywhere you like, your records get the spotlight they deserve. Your music can be streamed from the Alva TT to all Bluetooth receivers in a high resolution of up to 24 bit/48 kHz, which means that no matter where the turntable is placed, you will benefit from a guaranteed authentic record experience!
INTEGRATED PHONO PREAMPLIFIER
The Alva TT’s custom-designed, integrated phono preamplifier simplifies the process of a direct connection and eliminates the need for additional speaker cabinets for your configuration. This phono preamplifier builds on the success of our award-winning 5-star preamplifiers – the Alva Solo and Alva Duo – reducing unwanted noise while retaining the characteristic warmth your record exudes.
FACTORY PRE-INSTALLED MC PICKUP
The pickup of the Alva TT is pre-installed at the factory. No complicated configuration is required and it has been perfectly matched to the other components of the turntable.
We chose a high-performance moving coil (MC) cartridge with exposed needle carrier. It reduces unwanted echoes and oscillations and delivers a high degree of amplification, while the reproduction shines with outstanding musical details.
PROTECT YOUR TURNTABLE
Your records are your most prized possessions, which is why the Alva TT comes with a removable dust cover so you can protect your beloved records when they’re not in use.
DIRECT DRIVE
Instead of a belt drive system, we opted for a direct drive in the medium torque range for the Alva TT. Over time, the rubber used in a belt drive system can stretch and subsequently needs to be replaced. For this reason, turntable with belt drive systems usually have a less precise playback speed than their direct drive counterparts. This is not a problem with the Alva TT – the synchronization fluctuations amount to only 0.06%. This gives you much better pitch stability – especially for longer, sustained musical notes.
POM PLATTER
The platter of the Alva TT has both a high density and a stately weight, perfectly complementing the direct drive motor. It was made of polyoxymethylene (POM), a high-tech thermoplastic used in precision parts that require high strength and excellent dimensional stability. The weight of the platter together with our direct drive motor in the mid-torque range guarantees outstanding speed stability during playback of your records.
HIGH QUALITY TONEARM
The Alva TT uses a classic straight tone arm. You will look in vain for connection points here, because this way the model gets the best possible priming for the pickup and thus offers extremely low friction.
It was designed to capture the maximum sound detail from the cartridge, and therefore from your records.
