Piega Classic 7.0 (unboxing unit)
The Piega Classic Series
The latest PIEGA loudspeakers build a bridge to the beginnings of the company: The PIEGA Classic Series is a tribute to the origins of the Swiss audio specialist. The five differently sized floor-standing speakers, the bookshelf speaker and the center speaker make reference to history in terms of design and materials, and now also give lovers of Speakerwith a classic appearance access to the unique and world-leading PIEGA ribbon technology Eye-catching distinguishing features of this new Speaker are the wooden cabinets optionally finished with white high-gloss PIEGA Classic Series polished Makassar veneer. Their bodies, elegantly rounded towards the back and pressed into a C-shape, document the kinship with the similarly formatted aluminum Coax and Premium series. The baffle and the forward sloping top are covered with Napalette, which gives the Classic models a very unique visual touch. With elaborate internal stiffeners, Idikell damping and 25 mm wall thicknesses, the Gehäuse are also optimized for excellent bass response without annoying vibrations and resonances.
Classic 7.0
Slightly higher, but equipped with two lush 180 mm woofers, the floorstanding Classic 7.0 goes to the start. The enormous pressure of the double bass system, which is almost linear down to 34 Hertz, saves the purchase of an additional subwoofer and also provides sound in larger rooms without any problems. Once again, the combination with the new AMT-1 tweeter ensures a sound that is unusually homogeneous and finely resolved in this price range.
