Discover this new captivating experience. The HT-A7000 surrounds you with authentic 7.1.2 channel surround sound, an integrated subwoofer and innovative audio technology. Experience the action completely from above and all around you. Just as if you were in the middle of the action.
The HT-A7000 features 7.1.2 channels, two upward-facing speakers, two beam tweeters, and five front speakers for full surround sound, as well as an integrated dual subwoofer that provides deep bass. With the Vertical Surround Engine and S-Force PRO front surround, the HT-A7000 creates virtual surround sound that comes from all directions, so you can experience thrilling Dolby Atmos® and DTS:X®.
Experience sound from above
Thanks to Sony’s virtual surround sound technology, the soundbar can position the sound in the vertical space and you experience 3D sound without separate ceiling speakers. Just like Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, the Vertical Surround Engine also gives other formats a more realistic, multidimensional sound.
Surround sound made easy
Using the front speakers, Sony’s unique digital sound field processing technology reproduces a surround sound field, so sound reaches you from all sides. Experience powerful surround sound like in the cinema without taking up much space.

Sit back and enjoy room-filling acoustics with two upward-facing speakers, two beam tweeters, and five front speakers for full surround sound, plus a subwoofer that provides deep bass.
Upward facing speakers
The sound is reflected from the deck and creates sound effects from above. In combination with the Vertival Surround Engine you get an atmospheric all-round sound experience.
Beam tweeter
Let sound reflect off the walls to extend surround sound and create a stunningly realistic viewing experience that goes beyond your TV. Can be combined with S-Force PRO front surround for even greater surround sound.
Integrated dual subwoofer
Provides a clear deep bass with high sound pressure. This was achieved by expanding the membrane surface and the size of the subwoofer (X-Balanced Speaker Unit).
Five front speakers
High sound quality from the X-Balanced Speaker Unit to avoid distortion and reproduce stomps more clearly.
Even deeper with optional subwoofer and rear speakers
For even deeper bass, add the optional wireless subwoofer. With two varieties of subwoofers, the HT-A7000’s built-in subwoofer can boost bass and vocals, and the optional wireless subwoofer can focus on deep sound. For an even more cinematic experience where the sound comes from behind, add our optional SA-RS3S wireless rear speaker.
