Hana E-Series – Fascinating from Japan
Hana makes its spectacular debut with this surprisingly affordable pickup. Like all Hana pickups, the E-Series is dedicated to the moving coil principle. For this purpose, the elaborate coils were wound on a cross, which guarantees excellent channel separation and impressive dynamics. The Japanese designers use a particularly rigid aluminum tube as the needle carrier. The diamond installed on it has an elliptical cut on the moss green E models and thus ensures secure contact between the groove flanks of the vinyl.
Lively dynamics
This outstanding resolution of the musical events and the incredibly distortion-free dynamics are the result. The two E-series models are each available as high output and low output variants. With only 0.5 mV output voltage, the Hana EL is intended for sensitive MC phono inputs. The Hana EH Moving Coil system, on the other hand, offers 2.0 mV output voltage and is thus at its best at the classic MM phono input. With their accuracy, a wonderful fine detail and lively dynamics, these Japanese cartridges will directly fascinate all record lovers.
