With an excellent price-performance ratio, the term “entry-level model” is completely redefined. The use of high-quality components from selected manufacturers is a matter of course for us. Even the smallest phono preamplifier of the Black Cube series will draw you under the spell of analog playback. All components are of course designed for durability and reliability.

STEREO

From the manufacturer Burr Brown we obtain – sonically excellent – amplifier stages. High-quality, impulse-resistant foil-foil capacitors with tight tolerances are used for the passive RIAA filter network. This allows us to ensure that impulses, dynamics and timbres reach the listener unaltered. For bass decoupling between the linear amplifier stages we use MKP types. Furthermore, all electrolytic capacitors are low-ESR types, and all resistors are low-noise metal film types. For switching the amplification and impedances we only install switches with gold-plated contacts.

A comfortable all-rounder

Of course, you can use the Black Cube Statement to operate all systems on the market, from high-output MM to MC. Practical MC impedances can be selected directly. Additionally, there is one slot per channel for the solderless assembly of a selector impedance. If you wish, we will gladly include resistors with your order to adapt your system to this phono stage – free of charge, of course.

Its small dimensions allow you to place the Black Cube Statement very close to the disk drive. This minimizes any losses due to cable lengths. By the way, Lehmannaudio always pays attention to the subtleties not only in the selection of components, but also in the entire manufacturing process: For example, the audio part’s cabinet is made of non-magnetic material (aluminum) and mechanically damped in the lid.
