    The brand new Townus speaker: created for the urban lifestyle – from the heart of the Taunus. Full of pride, Canton presents to you the “Townus”, with which they want to appeal to all people who care about timeless design and high-quality appeal. In reference to the roots and the location of the company headquarters, in the middle of the Hessian Taunus, the same sounding name Townus was created for the new Speaker.

    The newly created Townus series captivates with its timeless, elegant design and high-quality materials – ideal for urban people who value design and quality. The word Townus also refers to the connection between the modern and vibrant life of a city and the rather quiet and rural Taunus, where the creators of this timeless and modern Speakerhave their origins.

    Clear design

    Restrainedly elegant, with harmonious proportions and rounded Gehäuse, the 2.5 way center speaker Townus 50 attracts attention. The elaborately finished surfaces and the screwless integration of the drivers into the baffle make the Center Townus 50 a gem in any living environment. Its rounded cabinetnot only give the Townus 50 an elegant look – they also improve the center’s sound dispersion.

    Flawless surfaces in silk matt or high-gloss lacquers as well as noble real wood veneers with a perfect finish underline the premium claim of the new Townus Speaker. Other visual highlights include the high-quality aluminum rings of the speaker, which are manufactured using the steamless diamond-cut process, and the fabric panels, which are rounded at the corners and adhere magnetically to the baffles.

    The Townus 50 bass-reflex center speaker features a timeless, elegant design and excellent sound characteristics that make it the focal point of a powerful home cinema. Powerful, deep bass, the balanced tuning and its great dynamics make it the perfect center – crystal clear dialogue reproduction included.

    The Townus 50 Center is equipped with high-quality technical components: Guarantors for the well-known good Canton sound and an enormously high reliability. Two 154 mm titanium-diaphragm woofers suspended in the long-stroke, low-distortion Wave surrounds and a 25 mm aluminum oxide ceramic dome tweeter with precisely calculated waveguide deliver ideal sound dispersion up to 40,000 hertz.
