The brand new Townus Speaker: created for the urban lifestyle – from the heart of the Taunus. Full of pride, Canton presents to you the “Townus”, with which they want to appeal to all people who care about timeless design and high-quality appeal. In reference to the roots and the location of the company headquarters, in the middle of the Hessian Taunus, the same sounding name Townus was created for the new Speaker.

The newly created Townus series captivates with its timeless, elegant design and high-quality materials – ideal for urban people who value design and quality. The word Townus also refers to the connection between the modern and vibrant life of a city and the rather quiet and rural Taunus, where the creators of this timeless and modern Speakerhave their origins.

Perfect design

The 2-way compact loudspeakers Townus 30 captivate with timeless elegance due to their restrained elegantly designed cabinet and the noble surfaces. Harmonious proportions, rounded cabinet and the screwless integration of the drivers in the slim baffle makes the Townus 30 a gem in any living environment. The rounded cabinet not only give the Townus 30 an elegant look – they also improve the sound dispersion of the Speaker.

Flawless surfaces in silk matt or high-gloss lacquers as well as noble real wood veneers with a perfect finish underline the premium claim of the new Townus Speaker. Other visual highlights include the high-quality aluminum rings of the Speaker, which are manufactured using the Seamless Diamond Cut process, and the fabric panels, which are rounded at the corners and adhere magnetically to the baffles.

The Townus 30 – well equipped

The bass reflex compact speakers Townus 30 are characterized by their timeless, elegant design and excellent sound characteristics. Despite their small dimensions, the attractive 2-way bass reflex speakers offer powerful, deep-reaching bass and stupendous dynamics. The balanced tuning, its homogeneity and the fully comprehensive frequency range make the compact Townus 30 a universal Speaker for music of all kinds.

In the bass reflex compact speaker, high-quality technical components ensure the well-known good Canton sound and an enormously high reliability. Two Speaker, a 174 mm bass-midrange Speakerwith titanium cone and a 25 mm tweeter dome made of aluminum oxide ceramic, are responsible for the reproduction of music in the attractive Townus 30. Thanks to Wave bead technology and patented DC technology, the Townus 30 play in control at all times.

Last but not least, the precisely calculated waveguide of the tweeter optimizes the sound radiation and coupling of the 2-way loudspeaker, which performs confidently up to 40,000 Hertz.
