What makes the GLE.2 even better
The GLE 496.2 AR is equipped with the latest aluminum-manganese tweeter system. An interplay of elaborate wave guide, new diaphragm material and adapted crossover now enables reproduction from 20 to 40,000 Hz, making it the best GLE ever. 3-way bass reflex concept with not one but two aluminum woofer systems and a midrange driver with aluminum cone. Equipped with sturdy polycarbonate baskets, potent magnetic drive and latest generation wave beading technology.
Dolby Atmos Enabled Speakers
The GLE 496.2 AR is a “Dolby Atmos Enabled Speaker” and enables a vertical sound dimension thanks to special construction. The interaction of the 3-way front speaker and the 2-way compact speaker enables true 3D sound. Hear planes flying overhead, leaves rustling above your head, or rain pelting you. Feel the room-filling sound from all sides through virtual surround and be in the middle of the action.
