The S 300 is a beautiful, compact three-way floorstanding speaker with a width of only 21 cm and a height of 105 cm. This unique speaker exemplifies the technological and tonal philosophy of the entire series: massive, heavy aluminum cabinet, high-end speakerand crossovers, and an open, unadulterated sound image with great dynamics and outstanding bass.
The newly developed chassis enable the S 300 to deliver incredible performance. Two high-end woofers produce a deep, powerful and level bass.
The midrange driver perfectly masters the entire vocal range, sounding lively and natural. The new super-tweeter dome is airy, fast, dynamic and without any harshness or sharpness.
The sophisticated three-way crossover controls the three frequency ranges perfectly and ensures an absolutely spatial and open sound image.
For perfect bass reproduction, it is crucial that the speaker stand firmly, resonance-free and securely and are decoupled from the floor. That is why we have developed a new spike concept. The heavy spikes are turned from solid stainless steel, can be disassembled and have either a pointed metal cone or a plastic sliding surface for sensitive floors.

A relatively small cabinet usually limits the lower cutoff frequency and the maximum sound pressure in the bass range. However, this does not apply to the S 300, because the use of an aluminum case means that the net volume is significantly larger than with a wooden case. Our engineers have developed extremely elaborate high-end woofers, which have high-performance magnet systems and can perform extremely long strokes thanks to the 3-fold surround. They are precisely matched to the cabinet and produce an incredibly deep, powerful and level bass with the stiffened Membrane.

The midrange driver is an ingenious design that masters the entire vocal range from 300 to 2000 Hz, creating a striking naturalness with its dynamics and liveliness. The embossed and stiffened Membrane is absolutely resonance-free and a special 3-fold bead prevents any form of overshoot.
The new super-tweeter dome forms the perfect conclusion of the transmission range beyond 30000 Hz; airy, fast, dynamic and without any harshness or sharpness.
The elaborate three-way crossover is equipped with the best components. Precisely calculated and optimized for best transient response and transmission behavior, it effortlessly handles even the highest levels and ensures ideal control of the three frequency ranges.
