Bluesound Vault 2i
Bluesound Vault 2i – Network Streamer, CD Ripper & Music Server
Bluesounds VAULT 2i is the perfect all-rounder to set up a powerful streaming system with an individual music library. With the help of the integrated CD drive, you can rip your audio discs and store their music data directly on the internal 2 TB hard drive. External hi-fi components or your TV set can be connected via numerous analog and digital inputs and outputs.
To play music or movie soundtracks, either connect the VAULT 2i to an existing Verstärker or powered speakers or stream the music signals in Bluesound’s usual studio quality via BluOS-enabled speaker in your home network.
Audio data for audiophiles
The VAULT 2i’s integrated CD drive lets you rip your CDs to an ultra-quiet, low-power 2TB hard drive – in your choice of lossless, high-resolution FLAC, space-saving MP3, or original WAV format. Moreover, thanks to the USB port, you can access your downloads, iTunes libraries and other content on NAS drives. There is no easier and more space-saving way to store your music collection than with the VAULT 2i.
No computer required
Once you’ve set up the VAULT 2i on your wired home network, you can access your entire music library, share it with other users, and stream it to any other Bluesound player on the network – all without the use of a computer. The powerful dual-core ARM Cortex A9 processor in the VAULT 2i allows for hassle-free multitasking and streams your music to multiple rooms simultaneously – both one audio stream synchronously to all rooms and different streams to different players.
Powerful Bluos operating system
The easiest way to operate the Bluesound Vault 2i is via the BluOS Controller app installed on your smartphone or tablet. Listen to music from various streaming platforms and Internet radio stations, play podcasts, or access your local music library.
You can also start ripping your CDs from the app. If you use multiple Bluesound players, all of them can be managed and operated via the app.
Music throughout the house
The BluOS Controller App allows you to view all music data stored on the VAULT 2i’s network-attached hard drive and play it back on any Bluesound player in the house. Alternatively, start a cloud music service or podcast in the app, listen to an Internet radio station, or stream your friends’ playlist stored on a USB stick.
Versatile application possibilities
The Bluesound Vault 2i integrates into your home network via LAN and is quickly set up. The high-speed Gigabit Ethernet connection ensures that there are no dropouts or delays even when streaming high-resolution audio files – whether you’re listening to your music in sync across the network or controlling each Bluesound speaker individually.
Thanks to its analog and digital inputs and outputs, the VAULT 2i can also be connected to your existing hi-fi components or active speakers.
