How does OLED differ from all other technologies?
The answer is: Through the self-luminous pixels. This refers to a self-luminous display technology that makes all the difference to your viewing experience. Unlike LED TVs, which are limited in image and design by an integrated backlight, LG OLED TVs offer picture quality with an impressive reality packed into unique designs.

100% color fidelity – OLED TVs pass tests with flying colors.
Global inspection, testing and certification company Intertek has confirmed that LG’s OLED displays have 100% color fidelity. This means that the colors you see on the screen exactly match the colors of the original image. So everything you see looks exactly as the creative minds behind it intended.
100% color volume – A dazzling play of colors.
LG OLED TVs achieve the full color volume thanks to LG’s excellent color reproduction technology. With its 100% color volume, LG OLED can display 100% of the DCI-P3 spectrum in a 3D color space that covers the entire luminance range of the TV. This means that colors remain vivid and lifelike at full saturation, no matter how bright or dark the display is.
Infinite contrast – OLED puts LED in the shade.
Simply put, OLED TVs have millions of self-illuminating pixels that can be turned on and off, allowing them to achieve perfect blacks and infinite contrast.
This black is deeper than that of mini LED and LED TVs. So it doesn’t matter how many illumination points are built into the backlight – LED TVs are always overshadowed by OLED TVs.
