Returning to the Thorens DNA with enhanced features
The TD 1601 is the logical further development of the TD 1600 in the direction of extended operating convenience. It has a classic wooden frame, the two-part platter with internal running belt and thick rubber mat, an elaborately regulated motor, arm board and acrylic hood, is additionally full of innovations inside and offers additional comfort functions for operation.
Simply cleverly solved
The three springs of the subchassis do not hang on the top board, but stand on the floor. At the same time, a taut steel thread in the extension of the motor pulley – platter axle axis prevents lateral wobbling and thus ensures a piston-shaped oscillation of the subchassis even during start-up, when the motor force is strongest and the belt pulls laterally on the platter axle.
In addition, it offers the convenience of an electric lift operated at the touch of a button, contactless limit switching, and fully balanced outputs.
