The Acoustic Solid 111 Metal is a real mass drive. It weighs 17 kg, with the turntable alone weighing 7 kg. With the optional base, the drive becomes a monument. It is a feast for the eyes and ears.

This extension is used to decouple the drive from the ground. It consists of a base plate with 3 rubber feet, a motor riser made of POM (polyoxymethylene) and 3 dampers made of POM.

This means that vibrations and resonances no longer have a chance to penetrate from the surface to the pickup.
