Powerful discrete 2-channel amplifier
The HiFi network receiver DRA-800H was specially developed for the needs of your 2-channel system. The DRA-800H has a discrete power amplifier structure, a symmetrical design and a generously dimensioned transformer. It provides an output of 145W per channel (at 6 ohms) and can therefore easily drive floor-standing speakers adequately. Thanks to the Auto ECO mode, power consumption can be reduced without compromising on performance.

Excellent sound technology
Denon's sound engineers use carefully selected hi-fi components, including resistors and capacitors manufactured to Denon specifications, to optimize the receiver's sound. Based on the award-winning Denon amplifiers, the DRA-800H has a symmetrical design, double differential arrangement of the D/A converter channels and an analog preamplifier circuit that is not influenced by the power supply. The discrete circuits with short, direct signal paths between the power supply, signal and amplification ensure a detailed and precise image with your speakers.

Advanced HDMI video section
All five HDMI inputs – and one HDMI output – support 60 Hz 4K Ultra HD video, Pure Color 4:4:4 subsampling, HDR10 (High Dynamic Range), HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma), ARC, 3D and BT.2020 passthrough, which ensure outstanding color quality, clarity and contrast. HDCP 2.3 processing is available on all HDMI ports, so you can enjoy copy-protected content without restrictions. The Audio Return Channel (ARC) supports direct audio routing from the TV to the receiver via an HDMI connection.

Hi-Res Audio support
Discover the incredible fidelity of high-resolution audio files and enjoy music the way the artist intended it. The DRA-800H with AKM 32-bit DACs features high-resolution audio decoding for multiple lossless file formats, including ALAC, FLAC and WAV at up to 24-bit/196-kHz. It is also compatible with 2.8/5.6 MHz DSD files (DSD is the audio coding format of SACD). Play them from storage media via the front-panel USB interface or from network sources. The DRA-800H also supports other file types such as MP3 and WMA.

Speaker A/B and Zone 2 preamp output
Connect 2 pairs of speakers for an A/B configuration. Or expand your system into a second room and listen to another source thanks to the Zone 2 preamp outputs.

Integrated phono input
The DRA-800H's phono input lets you connect a record player and enjoy your vinyl collection in excellent audio quality.

Dual DAC differential circuit
The DRA-800H uses two complete 32-bit D/A converter channels per physical channel. This double differential arrangement significantly improves the signal-to-noise ratio and dynamic range on the left, right and subwoofer channels compared to conventional conversion.
