Using technology and experience from the past, Pro-ject also tried to incorporate damping techniques from high-end turntables into the Debut Carbon EVO. With more advanced TPE damping and high-mass sandwich construction in mind, they were able to develop this new solution.

The new Debut Carbon EVO not only looks good, but also impresses with a perfect posture. 3 height-adjustable solid metal feet are used to ensure level positioning on any surface. With 3 feet we were able to increase stability on uneven surfaces, as a perfectly level turntable is essential for true high-end sound.

In addition to the ability to effortlessly change the playback speed at the touch of a button, it is electronically controlled with the utmost precision, resulting in the most accurate and stable speeds.

Our previous turntable was already heavier than all the others, but a metal turntable also has a disadvantage: resonances.

Our TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) technology now helps to completely dampen these resonances and also increases the weight to 1.7 kilograms. Since the TPE is mounted on an outer ring, the kinetic energy also creates a flywheel effect. The result is even quieter operation with less wow and flutter.
